Outdoor Use:
EXL Series withstood 2000 hours of exposure with 4-hour cycle times of UV light and condensation at elevated temperatures with minimal color change and marginal shrinkage. Based on prior correlations of accelerated testing versus real time Florida exposure, 500 hours is equated to approximately one year, 45° south Florida.

NEW ColorBURST Excell Series

Product Description
EXCEL Series is a conventional solvent-based ink system, very fast drying, high solids solvent ink that maintains excellent screen stability. This ink has been formulated with the ability to re-wet in the screen after only a few print-strokes. After drying, EXCEL SERIES provides a semi-gloss flexible, block resistant film, ideal for vacuum forming, heat bending and multicolor overlays.

Recommended Substrates: Polystyrene, paper and card stock, pressure sensitive vinyl, electrostatic vinyl, vinyl banner, top coated and print treated polyesters, polycarbonate, rigid PVC, acrylic, TyvekŪ, some coated metals, fluted board in addition to many other materials. Test print before production.

Specifications
Curing: EXCEL Series will dry to a block resistant film in approximately 5-25 minutes depending on the substrate, ink film thickness and air circulation in the area. Inks will jet dry, with settings at 105°F - 145°F in 15-25 seconds for first color prints. Additional overprints may require slightly longer dry times as will inks with retarder additions.

Squeegee: 70-90 durometer polyurethane blades are recommended Coverage: 1000 to 1800 sqft per gallon.

Storage: Care should be taken to store ink in tightly closed containers located in a cool (50°F to 77°F), dark place. Closed containers may rupture or explode when exposed to extreme heat.
