Wilflex SSV Plastisol Ink

WILFLEX SSV is a vinyl plastisol screen printing ink especially formulated for direct screen applications on textiles. SSV is ideal for athletic printing having excellent abrasion resistance, elongation and tensile strength. SSV has minimal after flash tack and works well in applications requiring heavy deposits and multiple ink layers. SSV may be heat transferred from release paper to garment and may also be used as a flock adhesive.

Recommended Substrates
Cotton, cotton blends, polyesters and some nylons (generally open weave or mesh types). Preprint and test fabrics for dye migration, bleeding, ink adhesion, wash fastness and other desired properties.

Printing Recommendations

Mesh
For high opacity or Athletic Prints-40T-86T.
For fine detail or overprintint white- 125-180

Squeegee- Medium durometer, slightly rounded blade.

Emulsion- Conventional direct or capillary films.

Curing
Gel or flashcure- 220 degrees Fahrenheit/103 degrees Celsius Cure- 320 degrees Fahrenheit/160 degrees Celsius. Failure to cure ink properly causes poor washfastness, inferior adhesion, poor durability and increased dye migration.
